ART DIRECTION & MOVEMENT

Multidisciplinary artistic director, Rim distinguishes herself with her unique style as a performer, dancer, choreographer or even instructor on many creative projects, from music videos to performance art.

Voguing, dance and fashion make up the universe of Rim, a recognized figure in the Parisian ballroom with the genesis of her own house, the House of Yamamoto as well as her activity within the House of Tisci.

Rim has worked as a seamstress for major Parisian haute couture houses such as Kenzo, Givenchy and Agnès B., an experience that has fueled her perfectionism and sense of style for her own designs.

Through her experience in coaching and runway by leading many workshops and conferences, Rim has developed her own choreographic language and perfected her practice in Movement.

Rim also designs artistic events and custom concepts for big names in fashion and cultural institutions.

Created in January 2018 by Rim Zitouni, the association House of Yamamoto aims to support the creation and enhance plural identities by developing the transmission, research and creation of Voguing choreographic culture and Ballroom scene communities, in France and abroad.

MANIFESTE

The cultural association "House of Yamamoto" aims to promote cultural and social differences and to fight against all forms of discrimination through the representativeness and reappraisal of space.

The orientation law of July 29, 1998 relating to the fight against exclusions stipulates that "access to culture" for all citizens, is included as a national objective in the same way as access to housing, training or employment.

CLIENTS

  • Alice ROSATI (Clara Luciani DA)
I had already worked with Rim as a choreographer and casting director in the past on a film for adidas and one for Valentino SUNGLASSES and I was very impressed by his skills and his ability to understand exactly the needs of the project and to project his artistic direction. Rim has a special talent in casting atypical profiles, street and with very diverse backgrounds, which is fundamental in contemporary audiovisual productions. She is very good at managing a team of dancers who are not necessarily from the same company and who have to work together. She is very human and knows how to put talents at ease. Rim is always my first choice when it comes to working with a choreographer on a project! • Arthur MAYADOUX, Art director and stylist (Apollo magazine)
I have had the opportunity to collaborate with Rim on numerous occasions over the past ten years, whether as a performer, choreographer, artistic director or movement director. It is a pride for me to be able to regularly co-sign with her both artistic and commercial projects. Each collaboration has been an opportunity for strong and original explorations. For me, working with Rim means working with a partner who is a wonderful listener, who has an unmatched commitment and who has a high creative standard. Each of our clients, whether it is the Centre Pompidou or brands such as Swatch or Uniqlo, have - each time - communicated to us the joy of the original and innovative forms proposed, directed or interpreted by Rim. Rim represents for me an exemplary personality in the way he gets involved and co-constructs projects.         Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version)
